Menu varies day to day with different specials and you really can't go wrong. Give it a try if you haven't already! ”

When you walk in and see full tables of law enforcement eating, and working men, you know the food must be good and you're in the right place. Our server couldn't have been sweeter, she gave great menu recommendations and even greater service. The chicken fried steak was flavorful with a crunchy breading and delicious white gravy. I did try the brown gravy and will admit that was even better, next time! Also the cherry cobbler sounded too good, but I need to save some room for next time! ”

My husband and I stopped by for a weekday breakfast after dropping both of the kids off at school a few weeks ago. I couldn't believe that I had driven by this restaurant hundreds of times since moving to Woodstock in 2020 but had never stopped by. Even though Family Tradition is just in your standard strip mall, the wood paneling and Southern decor inside delivers a cozy, lived-in ambiance. Our waitress was friendly, and we had several check-ins throughout the meal. I tried the Loaded Hashbrown Platter with a biscuit on the side. The food was flavorful, everything you'd want in a breakfast that will keep you full well into the afternoon. For just $10, the meal certainly delivers a great value. I'm already planning out my next visit -- I can't wait to try one of the Stuffed Biscuits or Breakfast Sandwiches. I also think it would be fun to swing by and try a fried chicken dinner with some tasty Southern sides in the future. ”
